Where the full BPS measures an asset's performance across every theme of the framework - governance, soils, vegetation, fauna, nuisance management - BiodivPass answers an upstream question: does your situation call for biodiversity proof, and at what level? You get an indicative score and a recommended trajectory, from a simple benchmark to an enforceable BPS report reviewed by IRICE. It is the natural entry point before engaging a Biodiversity Partner and launching a formal assessment.

The diagnostic is designed for developers, real estate owners, estate managers and consultancies who want to objectify their exposure before committing budget. It reflects the European and French regulatory context - CSRD and ESRS E4, Directive 2024/825 on environmental claims, Article 35 of the French Climate and Resilience Act - while remaining applicable to an asset located outside France, as the BPS engine is designed to be regionalised.
