IRICE is a certification body accredited by Cofrac under no. 5-0655 (certification of products, processes and services, ISO/IEC 17065; scope available at www.cofrac.fr). IRICE operates the BPS tool.

4. Intellectual property

The BPS framework is the property of DAVANTI. The BPS trademark is the property of NORMAXIS. The tool is operated by IRICE SAS.

The BPS framework is published by DAVANTI under its NORMATYS programme. The other contents of this website (text, images, logos, interfaces, score reporting methodology) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of the rights holder.

Use of the BPS sign is governed by the trademark usage rules published at normatys.org/reglement-usage-marque.

5. Group affiliation

IRICE SAS and DAVANTI SASU are part of the NORMAXIS group, which owns the group's trademarks.

DAVANTI and IRICE are two separate legal entities within the NORMAXIS group. DAVANTI SASU is registered with the Aix-en-Provence trade register under no. 878 397 595; it owns the frameworks and publishes them through its NORMATYS programme. IRICE SAS, registered with the Aix-en-Provence trade register under no. 835 324 112, is the accredited certification body and the operator of the BPS tool. This group affiliation is disclosed and never concealed.

The Biodiversity Standard Council (BSC), which approves the BPS methodological framework, is a DAVANTI body, independent from the operator of the tool.
